  1. Good morning Vets!

I have made several messages to the farm to obtain permission to visit on 8/16/2014 to accomplish at least one goal of several; make a donation in person; and if possible meet the vets; see the farm with the aluminum can crushers (my children, nephews and niece)and my wife, the one who feeds them after work is done; have the media record a good deed and have farm dignitaries who can attend as well to experience the love that an ordinary working class citizen of this bountiful land has for the farm that vets operate.

    Please advise asap.

We thank you for your thoughts of kindness, but media, dignitaries and more have to be invited or accepted first. The farm is only opened to the public during blueberry season April 20th-may. As a sanctuary and a place to decompress we have to protect our veterans privacy and not invade their space while they are overcoming physical and mental barriers. Please not that we are closed during the winter season and holidays and will re-open in march.

Just saw the Growing a Greener World segment on TV, having been raised on a farm and having a great respect for our Vets I am sending a donation. What a great place for a returning Vet to get “grounded” again. Thank you for making this available to them.
